If you want to repair your cymbals for cracks, you just prepare a hammer and drill with a thin needle at home. If you don’t have the drill, you can buy it at cheap cost($15) home depot, Bed Bath & Beyond or any DIY shops. I bought it at around $15-20 bucks. Even though it is not enough power, you can make a hole to stop further crack. If you go to the music shop, probably it costs around $15 by each hole. I tried my Zildjian K 18 Dark Crash Medium Thin.

First, you need to mark the spot you want stop the crack. By using a hammer and needle, you mark on the edge of the crack. After making a small pit, you just drill a hole now. It is easy. For me, it took 15 minutes by each hole ‘cos the drill is cheap and hasn’t enough power. Sound? Probably, it doesn’t change.
